    Credit freeze

A credit freeze places a temporary block on your account during which you won’t be charged any interest or fees, and no payment is required. You won’t be able to use your card for new purchases during this period, but it does mean your credit card balance won’t get any bigger.

    Payment deferral

Allows you to pause your minimum payments for a month at a time, up to a maximum of 3 months, and you’ll still be able to use your credit card. It’s important to note, however, that interest and fees will continue to be charged to your account, which may mean future minimum payments are higher (and as a result, it may cost more and take longer to pay off your balance in the long term).
