How can we help?

Our Top Frequently Asked Questions

  • The Cashplus iDraft is available only to eligible customers, by invitation.

Once you've received an offer from us, simply log into your Online Servicing account or the Cashplus Mobile App, navigate to the iDraft screen (within Add-ons or from the tile on your Account Overview) and follow the steps to complete your application. Please remember to read and accept your Credit Agreement.

Once you've successfully signed up, the annual fee will be deducted from your balance automatically. Your iDraft will normally be added onto your account within a few hours, but if we receive your completed application after 4pm on a Friday or over the weekend, it will be available from midday on the next business day.

  • iAdvance is one of our most popular account add-ons and we try to make it available to as many customers as we can.

We understand that it can be frustrating when the offer is no longer showing on your account.

It may not make you feel better, but  this is a part of our legal commitments to Responsible Lending practices.

To expand on this as a responsible lender, we’ll only ever offer credit products to customers that meet our eligibility criteria. While we’re not able to confirm the specific details of this criteria, we take into account factors such as how you’re using your Cashplus account, how likely you are to be able to afford the repayments as well as any external changes in your circumstances or credit report.

We’ll regularly monitor your account to ensure that when you’re eligible to borrow money again we can extend an offer to you and notify you asap.

Please be aware, our Customer Services team don’t have access to any more information on why your offer is no longer available and can’t manually override this process.

  • Activate your card and request your PIN online

It’s simple to do and it’s free. Here’s how:

    1. Register for Online Servicing
    2. Login to your account and select the activate card screen
    3. Enter your 16 digit card number and your card's expiry date

Then request your PIN by selecting 'Request PIN' within Online Servicing or the Mobile App.

Activate your card and request your PIN by phone

    1. Call 0330 024 0924. You’ll need your card details to hand. Once your details have been confirmed, your card will be automatically activated.
    2. You can then request your PIN by following the instructions provided.

Your Cashplus mastercard is now ready to pay into and use.

  • We’ve created a few different pricing plans to suit the needs of our customers. You can choose to pay monthly or pay or as you go as a personal customer, and our Business Account comes with an annual pricing plan.

All our pricing plans benefit from the same features (like the ability to pay in cash at the Post Office, withdraw cash from ATMs, and send and receive faster payments), we’ve just tailored the fees for some services to better suit how our accounts are used.

Check out our table below to find the option that’s right for you.

  • Long story, short, and legalese aside, Cashplus is not a bank. We’ve just found another way to provide a full suite of banking services to customers across the UK.

But, that’s something we’re pretty proud of. With a Cashplus Account you get almost all the features of a High Street Bank Account, as well as some unique extras – and we’ve been able to do all that ourselves, without many of the advantages and access that comes with being a bank.

It’s meant getting pretty innovative at times and coming up with some unique solutions to provide our customers with the services they need, but we’ve done it!

You won’t find us using terms like ‘overdraft’ or ‘deposits’ because those are product names that generally only banks or building societies can use, but we’ve come up with our own alternatives that we think work just as well, if not better.

In regulatory terms, Cashplus (the trading name of Advanced Payment Solutions Limited, (APS)), via our wholly owned subsidiary, APS Financial Ltd (AFL), is an e-money issuer – authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, with FRN 900002.

APS is authorised and regulated by the FCA to provide the credit facilities that may be added onto Cashplus Accounts (like our iDraft and iAdvance products). The FRN of APS is 671140.

  • So that we can verify your details and open your personal or business current account as soon as possible, please follow these steps:

    1. Check your application confirmation email to see whether you need to provide Proof of Identity, Proof of Address or both.
    2. For Proof of Identity – select one document from column A below
    3. For Proof of Address – select one document from column B below
    4. If you need to provide both, please ensure you provide two different documents, one from column A & one from column B
    5. Once you have copies of your documents, please use the unique link in the emails we’ve sent you requesting documents. You’ll be able to upload electronic copies of your documents to our online portal and our team will review them within 5 business days.

If you need a replacement email, please call Customer Services.

Please read these important notes before selecting a document:

    • We require some documents to be certified before we can verify them. We’ve marked all documents requiring certification with a (C) in the table below.  If you need further information on certified copies, please see the section below on what's a certified copy.
    • Ensure all photos are clear, legible and complete
    • Partnerships or limited liability partnerships: you’ll need to send documentation in for ALL partners
    • Charities: as only the trustee of the charity can apply for a charity account, all documentation must be in the name of the trustee. Following successful application, you will be sent an “authority to discuss” form. Once completed, other charity employees may control the account
